Dufflewool
Dufflewool is our natural, forward-looking material innovation, 100% wool insulation that offers a down-free alternative to goose fill and a breathable, renewable answer to synthetic padding. The fibres trap warm air while allowing moisture to escape, keeping you warm and dry across shifting outdoor seasons without clumping, chemical treatments or synthetic compromise. For 2026, the range launches with the Silas Liner Jacket for men and the Marilla Liner Jacket for women, with more styles to follow. Natural performance, modern purpose and a material that feels entirely our own.

Men's & Women's Liner Jackets — Insulated with Dufflewool
The Dufflewool collection brings Gloverall's material innovation to a new kind of outerwear. Drawing on the silhouette of the classic M-65 military liner, the Silas and Marilla liner jackets are insulated with Dufflewool — a 100% wool fill that delivers warmth without the weight of traditional down, and breathability that synthetic alternatives can't match. Finished with military-style onion quilting and a two-way front zip, these are liner jackets that work equally well underneath a duffle coat or worn alone on milder days.
Men's Liner Jackets — The Silas Dufflewool
The Men's Silas Dufflewool Liner Jacket takes its cues from M-65 field jackets, reinterpreted through Gloverall's heritage outerwear lens. The Dufflewool insulation sits inside a quilted shell that gives the jacket its distinctive texture, while two in-seam pockets and a two-way zip keep it practical for everyday wear. Available in Navy and Racing Green.
Women's Liner Jackets — The Marilla Dufflewool
The Women's Marilla Dufflewool Liner Jacket shares the same military-inspired construction and Dufflewool insulation as the Silas, cut for a feminine fit. The onion-quilted shell, in-seam pockets and two-way zip give it the same versatility — a layering piece that earns its place in the wardrobe year-round. Available in Navy and Racing Green.
About Dufflewool
Dufflewool is Gloverall's own insulation material — 100% wool fill developed as a natural, renewable alternative to goose down and synthetic wadding. Wool regulates temperature more effectively than down in damp conditions, and unlike synthetic fills it's biodegradable and traceable. For a brand whose heritage is rooted in wool outerwear, it's a material innovation that feels like a logical next step rather than a departure. Dufflewool insulation is designed for longevity — the same principle that has kept Gloverall duffle coats in rotation for decades.
How to Wear a Liner Jacket
Liner jackets are at their most versatile when treated as a mid-layer. Wear the Silas or Marilla beneath a duffle coat or overcoat for extra insulation in colder months, or wear them standalone as a lightweight jacket in spring and autumn. The two-way zip makes it easy to adjust when moving between indoors and out. Both jackets are part of the broader Gloverall Outdoor SS26 collection, which also includes the Sharpe Technical Parka and the Wainwright Packable Jacket.
