First introduced with our Autumn Winter 2025 collection, Modern Classics in Motion continues into a new season, reflecting an approach to outerwear that is rooted in the familiar but never fixed in place.
For Autumn Winter 2026, that idea evolves through wool. A material that has shaped Gloverall for generations, it appears in both traditional and unexpected forms, from British woven cloth and Harris Tweed® to Dufflewool, our natural wool insulation.
Created from soft, airy fibres produced during wool processing, Dufflewool traps warm air while allowing moisture to escape. Lightweight, breathable and entirely down free, it brings the natural performance of wool to styles more commonly associated with synthetic insulation.
This season, it extends to the Monty Dufflewool Duffle Coat, Hawkins Dufflewool Parka, Oak Dufflewool Field Jacket and Bonington Dufflewool Puffa Jacket for men, the Shepherd Dufflewool Parka for women, and the unisex Ryder Dufflewool MA1 Bomber Jacket. From the familiar lines of the Monty to the military influence of the Hawkins and the contemporary proportions of the Bonington, each explores a different way of putting wool to work.
Elsewhere, wool takes a more traditional form. The men’s Hynes Wool Overcoat and women’s Selvon Wool Overcoat are crafted from 100% wool woven by Abraham Moon in Yorkshire. Harris Tweed® versions of both bring further texture and character, using pure new wool handwoven in the Outer Hebrides.
The women’s Shelley Cropped Duffle Jacket also returns in a substantial FC cloth, pairing contemporary proportions with familiar wooden toggles and jute rope fastenings. For men, the Chapman Souvenir Flight Jacket offers a lighter counterpoint, reworking the postwar souvenir jacket with a simple, unlined construction.
Across AW26, familiar silhouettes meet new applications of natural fibre, continuing Gloverall’s longstanding relationship with wool while considering how it can work today.
