This duffle is our way of honouring her — and today it comes in three ways to wear it. The original Freda Duffle Coat keeps its oversized, knee-length silhouette; the Freda Long Slim Fit Duffle Coat takes the same details into a slimmer, tailored cut; and the Freda Short Slim Fit Duffle Coat shortens the length for an easier, everyday fit. Each is made in England from a wool-blend, double-faced cloth: a plain outer face in your choice of shade, with a house tartan lining the reverse, so the choice comes down to how you want it to sit as much as which tartan you’d like hidden inside.
Of course, the hallmarks of a true Gloverall duffle remain across all three: the pancake hood, buffalo horn toggles, and leather loop fastenings all make an appearance, along with a fixed shoulder cape for structure and warmth.
