As part of Gloverall Renewed, our ongoing project dedicated to giving overlooked materials a second life, we have partnered with Minnessak to create two thoughtfully made bags: the Gloverall x Minnessak Crossbody Bag and the Gloverall x Minnessak Weekend Bag.
Minnessak is a London based studio founded in 2023 by Peter Keep and Jas Sehmbi. United by a shared respect for materials and process, the brand is built on the idea of reworking what already exists into something purposeful, enduring, and quietly desirable. The name itself, Minnessak, a Swedish word meaning keepsake, speaks to this intent. These are objects made to be used, lived with, and held onto.
The Collection
The Crossbody Bag is designed with modern utility in mind, relaxed in silhouette yet deliberate in construction. It is intended for daily use, balancing durability with an ease that allows it to sit naturally on the body.
A considered mix of materials defines its character: Gloverall deadstock wool, repurposed Alpha Industries padded nylon, and Halley Stevensons dry waxed cotton. Together, they create a subtle dialogue of textures, each chosen for how it will wear and improve over time.
Available in Navy or Khaki, vintage Italian leather brings structure to the trim and handles, while jointly embossed patches at the front and back quietly mark the collaboration. A smooth running Gloverall two-way zip secures the main compartment, complemented by a discreet external pocket for essentials close to hand.
Inside, recycled orange lining adds an unexpected note of colour, alongside a joint embossed leather pouch. An adjustable cotton webbing strap and solid deadstock brass hardware complete the design, ensuring comfort and longevity from morning through evening.
The Weekend Bag is a refined travel companion, spacious without excess and confident without fuss. Designed for short breaks and longer journeys alike, it carries itself with an easy assurance.
Offered in Navy or Khaki, the shape is structured yet relaxed, finished with vintage Italian leather handles and a removable adjustable cotton webbing strap. A front flap fastens with a leather loop and wooden toggle, a subtle nod to Gloverall’s duffle coat heritage, while a concealed zipped pocket keeps valuables secure.
Inside, recycled orange polyester lining brings warmth and clarity, paired with leather pocket detailing for simple organisation. Dependable, well balanced, and made to age well, this is a holdall designed to travel beautifully, again and again.
