Inspired by the timeless durability of classic workwear, the Walter Jacket combines rugged functionality with a refined aesthetic.

This style draws inspiration from the chore jacket, a staple in workwear history originally introduced in the late 19th century. Chore jackets were first worn by French laborers, known as bleu de travail, or "worker's blues," due to their characteristic blue colour. Designed for practicality, these jackets featured boxy silhouettes, durable fabrics, and multiple pockets for carrying tools, making them essential for farmers, factory workers, and craftsmen alike. Over time, the chore jacket evolved from a purely utilitarian garment into a fashion icon, appreciated for its blend of form and function.

This version of the Walter Jacket keeps its classic fit and button down fastenings, now cut from FC fabric—a lighter, softer double-faced wool-blend fabric with a tonal check interior.
