The silhouette is clean and understated, designed to layer comfortably over tailoring or knitwear. It’s a piece that moves effortlessly between city streets and countryside weekends, with just the right amount of structure to keep things smart, rain or shine.
The macintosh, or simply “mac”: traces its origins to early 19th-century Scotland, when chemist Charles Macintosh patented a method for waterproofing cotton using rubber. By the mid-20th century, the raincoat had evolved into the refined, belted silhouette associated with British intelligence officers and mid-century cinema.
