      Cut from a wool-rich blend with a touch of cashmere, it offers all the structure you’d expect from a varsity silhouette, softened by a luxurious handle and refined detailing. It features button-down front fastenings, two angled hand pockets, a buttoned pocket, and a discreet internal chest pocket: useful whether you’re trackside, street side, or simply out and about.

      The silhouette is classic but not boxy, with just enough sharpness in the line to sit smartly over knits or shirts.

      The varsity jacket, or “letterman”: originated in the mid-19th century at Harvard University, where athletes were first awarded stitched letters to denote excellence in sport. By the 20th century, the silhouette had become a symbol of athletic achievement across American colleges: wool body, leather sleeves, striped ribbed hems: a garment as much about identity as performance.
