Two names, both masters in their craft, meet across the Channel. Longchamp and Gloverall come together for a capsule that honours heritage while speaking fluently in the language of today.
At its heart: the duffle coat. Cut from Gloverall’s signature double-faced wool, its relaxed fit is lined with a subtle stripe and finished with a high collar and hood. Maple wood toggles, recalling bamboo, pay homage to Longchamp’s iconic Roseau line. Available in navy or nutmeg, it’s a coat built for the long view—classic, functional, enduring.
Alongside it, the Le Roseau L Tote. Crafted from the same distinguished wool, it borrows details from the duffle itself. Clean, structured lines in navy and nutmeg, and a bamboo clasp reimagined in raw maple wood, connect tradition to modernity in one considered gesture.
From now until the 26th of October, Liberty London’s first floor houses this meeting of minds. More than a pop-up, the space unfolds as a workshop in spirit: sculptural installations of bamboo, tools of the trade, and a lens into the quiet artistry behind each piece.
Here, the Roseau bag, the bamboo-clasp ballerina, the shawl and scarf ring, the bamboo-buckle belt, and the duffle coat are shown as objects of substance—where French elegance and British pragmatism share the same sentence.
The setting itself feels like a cabinet of curiosities: a celebration of skilled hands, noble materials, and an ease of style that asks nothing more than to be worn.
