Gloverall began its close association with duffle coats in 1951. Our first factory was situated behind St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Throughout the following decades and their fast moving fashion swings, we have dedicated ourselves to the development and perfection of the duffle.



Over the years Gloverall has succeeded in refining the cut of the duffle, creating additional comfort and versatility through precise engineering and innovative design processes while retaining its traditional qualities of practicality and style.

Our coats are made in England using the finest fabrics which are thoroughly tested for strength, durability and wearability. A team of skilled machinists, many of whom have been with the company for over twenty five years, utilise their unique talents to manufacture each coat to exacting Gloverall specifications.
