Women's Peacoats
The Clementine Peacoat carries the naval peacoat into the women's range without losing what makes it serious: double breasted wool and cashmere, proper structure, and manufacture in England at our own factory. Where each of our coats is made is set out plainly on the Made in England page.
A women's pea coat should be smart enough for the city and sturdy enough for the weather, and the Clementine is both. After the men's cut? See our men's peacoats.

It is a detachable tab that closes the collar high against wind and rain. Fastened, it seals the coat's one weak point; removed, the collar wears open as normal.
It is a regular fit, cut to sit over knitwear or a blazer, in sizes XS to 2XL. If you are between sizes and plan to layer heavily, take the larger.
No. It is dry clean only; do not tumble dry.
Yes, at Gloverall's own factory outside London, like every coat in the Made in England range.
Women's Peacoats
A women's peacoat keeps everything that made the naval original work, the double breasted front, the wide lapels, the dense wool, and refines the proportions for a woman's frame rather than simply shrinking a man's coat. Gloverall's women's pea coats are made in England at the same factory as the men's range, to the same cloth standards.
The Clementine Peacoat
The Clementine is built from a substantial blend of 75% wool, 20% polyamide and 5% cashmere at 620 grams per linear metre, with a double breasted front, handwarmer pockets, lined sleeves and a detachable throat tab that closes the collar against real weather. It comes in Navy, Black and Grey, in sizes XS to 2XL.
Navy, Black or Grey?
Navy is the classic: it is the colour the coat was born in, and a navy peacoat for women reads as polished with everything from tailoring to denim. Black sharpens it for evening and formal wear; grey softens it for daytime. If you only buy one, buy navy; it is what the anchor buttons expect.
Beyond the Peacoat
For a softer, less formal silhouette the Freda Duffle Coat carries the same made-in-England credentials with toggles instead of buttons; for full length, see the women's wool overcoats. The Clementine sits between the two: shorter than an overcoat, sharper than a duffle.
